Doppler (stylized "doppler.") was a "failed" video sharing project by Maplefield intended to aid the crumbling Video Sharing community after the fall of VidBitFuture and NeoVid. The people in the team were AM (now Leadready), I, geekyTV (now prozachfrfx), TSTpro, NoahProductions, and KnotSnappy.
Development of doppler was, in lack of a better term, barely existant. The only part done on doppler was frontend, and I wouldn't even touch that frontend with a 10 foot pole. It is so badly written. Feel free to check it out yourself.
The reason why this failed is because of multiple reasons. Those reasons being that I didn't know (and still don't know) how to develop backend for shit, The team was not experienced, and another video sharing site, VidBit (now VidLii) would've came and ate my cereal anyway. So with all of that, what was the point? After this, I decided to shut down Maplefield, as it was nothing but a big and giant failure.
BUT! I did "make" a joke version of doppler, as well as a made-from-scratch version of doppler that was only a programming excersize as an attempt to learn programming. In that version, the only function that works is logging in. No channels, no nothing. Here's a video on VidLii I made about that version.
